Visitors Building Rental
The Northwest Stream Center is located on a beautiful 20-acre site leased from Snohomish County Parks and Recreation in McCollum Park approximately 1/2 mile east of Interstate 5 between Seattle and Everett, WA. Two salmon streams flow on the grounds that are covered with complex wetland systems and pockets of upland old second growth forest.
The Visitors Building is available for rent. We offer four different rooms to meet your needs at affordable prices.

The Chinook Room
A spacious room with a 30-foot high ceiling, a large “ garage window door” which opens to a brick Streamwalk Plaza and overlooks a fresh water marsh. It will seat 150 comfortably and accommodate over 200. On a nice day, a larger audience can expand outside onto the Streamwalk Plaza.
This terrific space has a balcony for displays and overflow crowds. With its advanced audio/visual system and the large 16×16-foot projection screen, the Chinook Room is ideal to host presentations which feature videos, DVDs, or slideshows; all capable with use of HDMI laptop connection, or in-house AV system.
Fifteen adults can be seated facing the room’s large white board, and up to 25 elementary age students enjoy sitting on the floor learning about natural resources.
This room is equipped with a large sink, microscopes, and rubber boots that are used to explore streams and wetlands.
The Coho Room
A great place for for small retreats, workshops, and seminars. Up to 30 can be seated theater style for lectures. This great room has wonderful natural light and a 20 foot high ceiling. The windows have “blackout” shades for slide presentations on a large pull down projector screen.
The Verizon Natural Resource Library
Cozy work space, ideal for small workgroups or meetings, and individual study with access to multitudes of scholarly works and information. Holds up to 10 people comfortably.
